Robust and well-built cruiser, hybrid, and mountain electric bikes.
Expert Review :The world wasn’t that much different in 1895 compared to our modern society. At the time, people in the US were discovering the great potential of pedal-powered two-wheeled transportation and companies sprang up to supply the rides. The ‘bicycle craze’ of the late 19th century gave rise to a familiar name when a man named Ignatz Schwinn partnered with Adolf Arnold to create a company that produced World Bicycles, as early Schwinn bikes were called.
Today, the legendary company is hitching its wheels to a new trend in two-wheeled transportation, the electric bike. Since 2019, Schwinn has joined the eBike movement and built pedal-assist electric-powered bicycles for all types of riders. The options available from Schwinn are reasonably priced and offer choices for different riding styles and needs in an eBike.
The Marshall hybrid on-off road model is available in a semi-step through or high bar styles. The 27.5 inch wheels roll well on rides around town, and the front suspension fork absorbs some shocks when you’re off the paved paths.
The Mendocino is a cruiser-style eBike with a battery pack built into the back rack. The upright geometry and low step-thru frame are reminiscent of a Dutch-style cruiser, capable of hauling some stuff on the back rack in easy-going style.
The Coston is a fat-tire urban multi-use vehicle available in a variety of builds. You can choose a front suspension fork to smooth the ride or go with stiff forks and rely on the ballon tires to soak up some of the bumps. Front and rear fenders are standard, and a rear rack is an option that makes sense if you’ve got some gear to haul.
