The D11 features an innovative placement of the battery inside the seat tube. The seat tube piece is easily removable, so the owner can simply remove it and keep it close for safety. On the other hand, carrying around the saddle with a long tube attached to it is more difficult than just carrying a rectangular battery pack as many e-bikes have. And the risk of leaving the seat post and saddle in place while your bike is secured for parking is that it's also very easy for thieves to take your valuable battery (and saddle).

So, while FIIDO offers some very reasonably priced options to get into an e-bike, the choice is not without some trade-offs. And since they don't have a retail presence throughout the country, many customers will need to evaluate their options remotely if they want to jump on board with a FIIDO e-bike.
